The sign must have the International Symbol of Access in white on it, on a blue background, saying \u201cParking only \u2013 minimum fine $250.\u201d The sign should be minimum 12\u201d x 18\u201d. If the space is van-accessible, \u201cvan accessible\u201d should also be included.<\/li>\n<li>Additionally, you must also include a sign at the entrance to your parking facility, 17\u201d x 22\u201d, with 1\u201d letters that says, \u201cUnauthorized vehicles parked in designated accessible spaces not displaying distinguishing placards or special license plates issued for persons with disabilities will be towed away at the owner\u2019s expense. In general, it\u2019s the local authorities who set fire lane distances in the building code.
