(Ecotality)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">An advisory committee assembled by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ecotality.com\/\">Ecotality<\/a>, which is home to the EV Project,\u00a0reports that public charging spots are less and less visible. \u00a0 (Think rather large phone chargers in outlet strips all over the country. \u00a0At least that&#8217;s the plan for this new wave in decreasing automobile emissions.) \u00a0While some stores are quick to advertise an eco-friendly practice, others are a bit more hesitant to tow away internal-combustion cars that are parked in EV spots. \u00a0These are paying customers, after all. \u00a0So what if it&#8217;s illegal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myparkingsign.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Electric-Vehicle-Sign-K-4279.gif\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1572\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1572\" title=\"Electric Vehicle Charging Sign at MyParkingSign.com\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myparkingsign.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Electric-Vehicle-Sign-K-4279.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"271\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myparkingsign.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/wheels-evsigns-blog480.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1564\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>An MUTCD-regulation call for EV parking only (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.parkingsign.com\/\">MyParkingSign.com<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">With signs large and small, multi-colored and black-and-white, changing text and changing image, motorists are anyway finding it hard to know whether a spot is even EV-exclusive. \u00a0 The Federal Highway Administration&#8217;s latest Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov\/pdfs\/2009r1r2\/part2b.pdf\">recommends<\/a>\u00a0a single uniform sign, like the one above.<\/p>\n<p>Any EV drivers out there?
