    • Rubber base measures 14" in height and 18" in diameter. Base is composed of 100% Post Consumer Recycled Tire Rubber.
    • Perfect for all weather conditions. Will not rust, chip, crack, crumble or corrode when left outdoors for long periods of time.
    • Sign base weighs approximately 72 pounds. When adding the post weight total is about 74 pounds.
    • Base has a circular hole which can accommodate a galvanized steel post with 1.75" width.
    • Due to its aerodynamic design the base can withstand high winds and punishing weather. Base has a wind rating of 50 mph, when a 5 ft pole is used.

    packaging issues

    The post and base arrived with no scratches, which I am totally surprised. The box did not do so well. The box and bubble wrap were not substantial enough for the size and weight of the posts and base. Basically no prep, no proper wrapping of the base or securing it in the box. UPS at some point had to put extra tape on the box to keep it together and 3 straps to hold it together. There was an additional weight charge fee that was assessed at the time of ordering. I have attached one picture, but not able to attach others.
