Truck Route Signs

Truck route signs are commonly used on designated commercial corridors, near industrial parks, distribution centers, and truck entrances, and along residential streets where truck traffic needs to be limited or redirected. Cities, counties, and private property owners all use them to keep large vehicles on roads built to handle them.

Truck route signs are made from durable aluminum with reflective sheeting, so they stay visible day and night. Depending on the sign, you can choose from up to three grades of reflective film for added visibility in low light or bad weather.

This category includes Truck Route, Thru Truck Route, Truck Entrance, All Trucks, Heavy Truck Traffic, Trucks Prohibited, Log Trucks, and Truck Weight Limit signs, along with roll-up sign options for temporary or work zone use. Each one covers a different message, from confirming an approved route to marking roads trucks should avoid.

Yes, many of the truck route signs on this page are MUTCD compliant, meeting the federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices standards for shape, color, wording, and reflectivity. Look for the MUTCD filter on this page to shop only compliant signs.

Sign size depends on where the truck route sign will be posted and how fast traffic moves past it. Smaller sizes like 12"x12" or 18"x24" work well for parking lots, driveways, and low-speed areas, while larger sizes such as 30"x30" up to 48"x48" are better for higher-speed roads and highways where drivers need more distance to read and react.
