Survey Crew Signs

On a high-speed highway, put the first warning farther back — around 500 feet or more ahead of the crew — and use larger, higher-reflective signs (up to 48" x 48") so drivers read them in time at speed. Add cones, drums, or delineators to channel traffic away from the crew, and keep the setup on the shoulder side wherever possible.
